just logged in and a surprise waited for me on the battle.net screen - all shop pets (beside argi) have a 50% discount.

this is gonne last until 5/1.

For me 5/1 would indicate May 1st. (this seems unlike Blizz)

My guess is though Jan 5th is deadline.

They all still show up as $10 when you go to the web-based pet store.

Topaz is on a EU server. Perhaps we won't see the sale until tomorrow? Also 5/1 makes me think May 1st, I'm assuming that it's actually January 5th?

Yeah, forgot to mention its in EU (in here 5/1 is January 5th).
Any suggestion on what pets are useful? Been waiting for a sale ever since the alterac crew pup was for sale a few months ago.

By far and away the most useful pet is Lil' Ragnaros. Because he has one ability no other pet can match. He allows you to cook feasts while sitting on the bottom of a lake wielding your water-breathing fishing pole.

I just went and bought every single one I didn't already have, AND the fey dragon mount bundled with the brew pup.

How did you buy the bundle? Nvm it's on the web page shop. Though the bundle isn't cheaper so I guess it doesn't matter

Edit. I knew they were going to be on sale so I'm glad I waited. Now I got all of them except Argi (I was missing the Brew Pup + Blossoming Ancient). Still can't decide whether to get the bundle or just the pet.

I got the Brew Pup/Dragon Mount thingie combo, NOT the Argi combo....I can't justify that one right now.

But Merry Christmas to me!

Is it sad that WoW pets make better Christmas presents for me than anything else?

I have been nailing away slowly at buying each one of the shop ones. I figured lastnight I had been a good girl for the last couple weeks and bought the much talked about lil Ragnaros for $10. Yay I cant wait to level him I thought, only to find that they are all half off. So I suppose part of me is like upset but then its only $5 and could have been like Kel who bought 6 of them earlier lol. I only need 3 more pet shop pets then I will have them all. Guess who is blowing $15 right quick after work?!
