Hi everyone! Thanks for your feedback, wanted to drop in a few updates/notes.
In the next build, you'll see that the required currency for each bonus item has dropped from 10000 to 1000 Order Hall Resources. We agree that the "hard part" of getting the bonus items should be maxing out your artifact, not the grind afterwards.
In 7.2, we want these bonuses to feel like a badge of honor for players that have unlocked the final ability on their empowered artifact. For some time they'll be pretty exclusive, and this is intentional. It makes sense for the Blood Death Knight, with their bloody mount, to also have the Bloodbrood Whelpling, showing off their dedication to their specialization.
It's also important to note that we also have no plans to remove these items in the future, and we will re-evaluate their acquisition in a post-artifact world. If you don't want to go for them right now, don't worry, you won't be permanently missing out on anything.

The reduced Order Resource price of the 7.2 class pets is currently not in effect yet on the PTR. We may see the adjustment this week or in the near future.
All these forced class specific pets with toons I never wanted to play. Most likely going to make my 10 year playing with wow end.
Its to much to play a toon for hours just to get 1 or 2 pets and then never play that toon ever again.
Such a waste of time.
Way to much in game now to force paying players to play toons they never intended to play.
Dont care for dk's if i had Id have one by now. This force player trend they keep doing with legion I hope buries them.

OK that is better. I have alot of alts for mount collecting and gold farming, so those are classes I already have at 110 , and just through dailies and normal activities- I have all my weapons and my DK has her frost done, and blood almost done simply by doing the bare minimum. may take you longer to get them all done this way but it is do-able.
I've never been worried about the resource cost but the time it will take to level 3 artifact weapons to max level, for an alt : /.
Are hunters going to get a class pet, I am a pet collector but do not enjoy playing Shamans Demon hunters and Dk, I do not mind the druid although mine is only level 100 will start leveling her shortly, but my main is a hunter. Please give us a pet to. Thanks Bravelyn-Lightbringer-Eu
I levelled a monk to 110 just in time for the 20 world quests event; was funny she earned a 1000 or so AP (AK0) and 5000 order hall resources for the upgrade from AK 45 to 50....she's parked until 125 days after 7.2
Also remember that artifact knowledge is going up to 50 in 7.2, so, once you hit that with your main character, you can buy the catch up items for your alts. So catching up the traits will be less a grind than perceived. With just a few AP items you can catch up an artifact from 0 to the current max (not including maxxed paragon) in a very short time.
