The Shadowlands Pre-Patch is live this week! There's a new pet available from the Death's Rising Event, and the Pet Journal has been updated with all upcoming expansion pets. Additionally, some existing pet abilities received updates. [source]
Scourge Event Pet
This pet is sold by event vendors for 20 Argent Commendation (not to be confused with the older, similarly named version of this currency). Players can complete the Death's Rising Event campaign and new dailies to earn Commendations.

Upcoming Shadowlands Pets
Players can now preview over 100 new pets in the Pet Journal. We've also updated our database to include these pets for your viewing pleasure.
Get ready to pledge yourself to a Covenant in Shadowlands, and earn one of the Renown pets (pictured below) plus much more.

Pet Ability Changes
Some pet abilities have been re-balanced. Changes include:
- Flock-like abilities
- Aquatic pet family passive
- Decreased or increased damage for select abilities
- Cooldown and other changes

the Shadowmoon valley pet battle has got alot harder it seems
Is anyone having problems with pet battle addons? Even after updating? I have lost my teams and can not get battleteams to function. Looking for advice :D

Personally, I'm ok with collecting the new argent tokens for kitty cat. I'm sure it won't take too long and will be totally worth the 'grind' :)

@Ara_kellbringer In theory, yes. You need to join to covenant A (talking with the ambassor in Oribos), rise the "reputation" until you can get the pet, join to covenant B (is instant) and repeat the process, same with covenant C and D. After you have the 4 pets, choose wich covenant to return (if you want) and start the process one Monday talking with the ambassor in Oribos. Tuesday (US) or Wednesday (EU) you will be again with the deserted covenant and with all your "reputation".
Sooo..I Run one main...will i be able to get the other pets from other covenants?
I updated my pet collection today and I went from 8k plus points and 1132 unique pets to 174 points and 38 unique pets. Is this a glitch from the 9.0 patch that just happened?
Update/Edit: It turns out it showed those points and pets because I was logged onto an alt at the time I updated from armory. I logged onto my main and re-updated my collection and it worked.
