Our good friends over at Petopia have added a fun feature to their in-depth website on hunter pets — suggested matching battle pets!
Many hunter tames come in smaller, less menacing but still ferocious, counterparts, and now it's easier than ever to find your perfect pet combination.
Each link will take you to a WarcraftPets pet page where you can learn more on how to collect your matching battle pet.
Not all hunter pets have a corresponding battle pet. We can only hope Blizzard will one day add more battle pets to the list that look similar to other hunter favorites.

I've been doing this for years, literally.
My dwarf hunter, that I made back in vanilla, who I later paid race changed to pandaren, has been running with Mazzranache since level 54. I started doing the pet pairing with the introduction of the Mulgore hatchling, and completed the set back in 4.3 when the Swift Lovebird was introduced. I also did the purple variation.
I'm surprised they only listed the polar bear (unless I missed it), since you can do Big Battle Bear, Dun Morgh cub, and Ursol'lok combo. The eyebrows don't match? :p
I also have the azure crane and I used to do the corehound, but replaced it with the direhorn, although I don't have the proper direhorn mount yet.
I planned on the manasaber combo when my gnome hunter gets bigger.
In any case, that's a pretty handy guide, since there's some other combos I hadn't considered like the wintersaber and the moose (I'll definitely have to do the moose with my gnome hunter).murky the murloc pet is available to pet battle and capture on that island with the elite murlocs if anyone is interested good luck to everyone the island is in azuna with the ship

Petopia's search page will allow you to filter for Hunter pets that must have a matching companion pet. You can also filter for ones that must have a matching mount and create a completely matching look :)See: http://www.wow-petopia.com/search.php
If you want less pet spam in the results, check the "List only looks, not individual pets" box first!
