During the second iteration of the Plunderstorm event, January 14, 2025 to February 18, 2025, this pet was made available again as a purchasable item from the newly added Plunderstore.

From March 19, 2024 to April 30, 2024 players could participate in a special limited-time gamemode, Plunderstorm, and reach Renown 11 with the Keg Leg's Crew faction to earn this companion. Learn more about this activity from Wowhead's Plunderstorm Guide.

Bubbles has two appearances, one that has small bubbles rising from the mouth, and one that doesn't generate bubbles. This pet will randomly spawn as one or the other when players summon it.
