Warlords of Draenor
Patch 6.0.1 | Posted: October 14, 2014
Found in the marsh east of Elodor (the Umbrafen) or as secondary pets in Shadowmoon Valley (Draenor).
1-7 of 7
1-7 of 7
They feed off of the nutrient-rich fungal spores which gives these crabs the district coloring of their shells.
As with all of the pet spawns that can spawn in the region of your garrison (Shadowmoon Valley for Alliance, Frostfire Ridge for Horde), the easiest way to farm for the breed you want (in rare of course) is to have the "Creepy Crawlers" decoration active from the Hallow's End world event. As these are INSTANT respawn when killed, and any of the pets from that region can spawn as seconds; pick a spot, settle in, and just keep checking and killing if it's not what you want.
I found that these come up as secondaries from the moonshell crabs so the best way I found, was to go to the moonlit shore and search through the moonshell crabs which are always primary there. They are also killable so you can check quickly and get them to reset rather fast.
They can be found as 2nds and 3rds in your Garrison during the Hallow's End event as well. (Short window of opportunity, for sure, but while farming breeds of the new holiday pets I finally got my P/P rare.)
Found a rare roughly 52/23
Just got mine at 41.15 (primary), easy fight :)
These are not very common, with only a few in the spawn locations. However, they can be founds as adds to the royal moths across the entire zone. If you find one as an add to a royal moth and they're both rare, I recommend capturing the crawler unless it's just a breed you don't want. There are many more moth than crawler spawns.
Easy to catch. 57,23. Uncommon with common and poor as backup fighters.Â
