Warlords of Draenor
Patch 6.0.1 | Posted: October 14, 2014
Varasha's Egg is located in an underground cave in The Writhing Mire in Spires of Arak. The entrance to the cave is located on the largest island in the swamp area.
Upon reaching the bottom of the cave, players will find a nest under a pillar of light with Varasha's Egg inside. Clicking on the egg will spawn the rarespawn Varasha, who will come charging down the cave entrance. Varasha must be defeated first before her egg can be looted.
Players can loot the pet from Varasha's Egg only once per character.

The hydraling can be an expensive pet, as it is capable of eating from three food bowls at the same time.
Very powerful against elementals.
This is the only Aquatic pet with Call Lightning. Combining it with the Shell Armor shield effect it makes it a perfect pet to run Clockwork Gnomes with. It will counter lil' Rag in a couple of rounds. Great armored nuking team if you combine Crusher with it.
The combination of shell armor and deep bite is VERRY strong in PVE fights. she is good against elementals, undead, critters and thanks to shell armor even flying pets feel her wrath. At 10 she soloed a team of wild pets lvls 15/16/16 one rare. Once she starts killing get out of the way! I use her whirlpool in any fight I can, in my cap team she can almost always kill 2 and survive until the cage.
Unfortunaley she really needs to be P/P or P/S or S/S to be a true powerhouse.
If you like leveling your pets around your Garrison, I highly suggest this pet as one of the team. Leveling "Nessie" to 25 was a breeze there as well. I use her as my 2nd pet, the first being the pet I'm leveling. I start off with her awesome Shell Armor, then Call Lightning, and then I use Deep Bite until it's time to recast Shell Armor. The armor is fantastic, the Call Lightning is often devastating, and Deep Bite stacks damage as you use it and doesn't reset on the next to kill!
My hubby and I also took her down together. Can confirm that if you just wait a few seconds after the first person loots the next person can also nab the egg. So don't worry if someone line jumps you; it doesn't impact your ability to acquire this little one at all.
Her Shell Armor is so useful, it has saved me in a lot of fights.
I arrived to find someone already killing her; she was almost dead. So I figured to let the person finish her off and loot the egg. I'd wait on the respawn and get the egg later. However, even though I didn't assist (the fight was easy for the person, no help was needed) I could still loot the egg. So it may well be that anyone can loot the egg for a short duration once she is killed.
Husband and I took this one on in a group. Both of us were able to loot the egg, I just had to wait a second or two after he looted to get mine. Haven't tried him out yet, but will be getting on a lowbie toon later to level it up.
Killing mom to steal her baby... not one's finest moment...
Just kite her around and watch out for the pools of poison she spits. Be quick as once she is dead anyone can click her egg, and only one can loot per kill. A rogue grabbed it after I fought her down. Please don't be a prick and ninja pets. I would not have minded helping out, if I had been asked. Not like it is a long spawn timer, it is just the principle.
