This pet can be earned from the Secrets of Azeroth in-game event where players investigate rumors and search for treasure. This event initially ran from August 31, 2023 - September 14, 2023, but players can earn the rewards even after the end date.

A very cute pet! He is a big doggy and does wear Sherlock's hat when summoned (but not in battles nor in the journal).

And of course it is the very dog from "The Sign of the Four"!
