The tiny terror of the Dread Wastes, Kovok prefers a steady diet of "brain food:" mushan brains, human brains, any brains really. This strange nutritional requirement may be tangentally related to his enormous head.
Just won this from the BMAH for 21k
So which one is the best breed (HH, HS or HP) ?
Even after Pheromones nerf(can still be useful but dont expect wonders) Kovok is still a good pet. It is the most durable pet that can apply Black Claw(which is very powerful). Digest Brains heal will keep you alive longer, and there are alot of powerful combinations with Poison Fang/Black Claw(try with Clockwork Gnome). If you dont like Black Claw you can still do huge damage with Poison Fang and Puncture Wound. I can't really recommend Body Slam, but im sure someone can make use of it.
Obscenely low droprate - or might be my RNG. but I'm going on multiple characters every week with bonus rolls and I still don't have this. Might buy it soon since I occasionally see it for under 5k in the ah
Wow, the over-nerf hit Mr. Kovok. Maybe it was due. But correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't Pheromones 140 damage to backline pets for 3 rounds; now 70 damage to backline pets. With the opponent's Unborn Val'kyr sitting in your front line battler, the Pheromones nerf is pretty, pretty, pretty weak. *wink*
Do not surprised when a nerf for Pheromones comes. Enjoy it while you can.
My 2nd favorite pet (after Son of Animus). Works amazing with a cleave team. Droplet of Y'shaarj and Scourged whelpling are two great choices, but I hear throwing in a Jademist dancer works great too.
I bought it yesterday for 50k. It's by far the strongest pet I've come across for PvP pet battles. It's Pheromones ability weakens the enemy team so much that even when Kovok dies, it's easy to beat the rest of the pets. I'm running Kovok along with Fiendish Imp and Unborn Val'kyr.
Best 50k I've ever invested in a pet.
I would love this as a flying mount♥
Kovok does not fly around...kovok just kills everything around ;D
Looks like you got the HS breed Gwen.
Gwenholick - does Kovok fly with you when you're cruising around? I'd hope it does.
I got this today, the stats are:
155hp, 10power, 12speed (lv1)
1465hp, 260power, 305speed (lv25)
Good luck
p.s It does NOT fly with you.
