Battle For Azeroth
Patch 8.0.1 | Posted: August 13, 2018
As of Patch 8.1, a new vendor was added allowing Alliance players to purchase this pet in Boralus. To gain access to this vendor, Dodger, players must acquire A Shady Message quest item. The quest item is a random drop from participating in Pet Battle PVP (queued) matches. Accepting and completing the quest mission, as well as the follow-up quest, will grant access to Dodger and his stock of multiple Horde battle pets.

Known to chomp on the shins of everything from saurids to brutosaurs.
Pretty much terrible. Don't waste a stone on it.
Hunting party and Black Claw are on the same slot. 1st slot doesn't matter. Aura can't be used for the first time until 8 rounds have elapsed, which kind of renders this useless. Yes you cannot use the ability AT ALL until 8 rounds have passed. It starts on colldown.
By the time you can use aura, the black claw/hunting party/swarm pets have killed everything by then or in the dungeons are dead.

So far (11/25/19) only Lil' Tika and Zandalari Shinchomper have the Aura of Gonk ability.
Once the aura takes effect, a triple damage ability (like Build Turret) will do a triple heal to the front line pet. The aura lasts 4 rounds and takes 4 more rounds to cool down.
Humanoids can get thier racial passive benefit on top of this aura, meaning a lot of healing to a human pet in the front line with a triple damage ability in place.
Aura of Gonk is unique not only for its cooldown at the start of the game but the way the heal works. Unlike Plagued Blood effects only the active pet will generate healing from damage ticks. DoTs and multiattacks combined with the below 50% bonus make for a very hardy tank as the healing is already quite substantial from even a single attack.
With its arsenal of DoT, debuff, and major healing in a Power breed, the Shinchomper offers a lot for a mere 50 charms.
