These voracious carnivores first arrived on Azeroth aboard the draenei's dimensional fortress, the Exodar.
Watch out of Battle Pet BreedID suggestions on the breed. Due to low level of these creatures, the stat ratio tends to be misinterpreted especially for poor and common quality. It may show for example a P/B, while there is no P/B and it may never show you P/P despite encountering that one.
Found most and alot of the Ravager Hatchlings on Wyrmscar Island, Bloodcurse Isle and around Blood Watch if you want fast spawn.
This pet is the definition of "glass cannon". The P/P especially so, with 341 power but under 1300 hp. However, this little guy can chew some serious face. At level 16, mine was easily taking down 2+ level 25 critters. A well timed devour can heal for about 50% health, which does make up for the low health to some degree. This is great for wild pet battles, but much much harder to pull off in pvp. Extremely great pet for powerleveling your low levels against critters.
Love the model and the 341 power while still being pretty fast. Usually I don't fancy pets without any defensive moves and always shy away from Rampage/Stampede type abilities that lock you for multiple turns. But im actually having lots of success with this little guy. It hits so damn hard, especially rampage that hits for like 500/700crits(not to mention 800 regular hits on critters). Good synergy with Screech and Rend. Use Celestial Blessing to make it last much longer.
found my rare at 12.0/64.5, was a lot of uncommons along this shoreline
Camped the spot near 63, 49 on Bloodmyst Isle where two Ravager Hatchlings spawn points are located. After what seemed forever, a rare Ravager Hatchling came for battle. My team captured it.Â
Just wanted to get Achvmnt. for Kalmidor, and the first pet I came across was a Rare Ravager Hatchling! @ 52 - 46
Got a rare on my second try just West of Blood Watch.
I got a rare on the 5th fight. Â Pretty glad too, since I did this on my BElf mage and it's a real pain to get out to Bloodmyst for a Horde, so I didn't want to have to go back there again.
It took a couple hours of farming but I captured a Breed 3 rare on the north side of the island. I wasn't too pleased with this so I decided to keep at a bit longer and I got the all-attack Breed 4 rare after another half-hour or so. Nice!
Picked one up in Bladewood, just NE of Blood Watch.
Took about an hour, got my rare near Blacksilt.
1st one I came across rare!
My Rare was a level 3 also, I found it after an hour by the lake south of the Vector Coil. Not sure if it means anything, but I figured it was worth noting.
I feel the need to post this on "faction specific" pets. Your battle pets are ACCOUNT WIDE. If you need a pet in a hard to reach area, simply make a character of that faction. In this case, make a Draenei and spend an hour or so leveling, the time investment is going to be about the same, but its going to be much less frustrating than trying to sneak across on the boats.Â
Captured my rare after many tries, found it in Nazzivian, near Blacksilt Shore.
The third ravager I captured was a rare one.. Luckily it didn't took that long.
I love these nasty little ugly-cute bundles of teeth and claws. Unfortunately all the hatchlings seem to only come in green, unlike some other battle pets that can have color variations (dung beetles, rabbits, frogs). I tamed 5 Ravager Hatchlings before I got a rare and they were all the same color.
Getting to Azuremyst Isle and Bloodmyst Isle isn't easy if your Horde. For Horde: Fly to Darkmoon Shore, get the closest point that you can to Teldrassil. As you fly to Teldrassil you will have fatigue, but you will only get a half bar before you hit the docks. Then sneak on to the West Dock in the village for a boat to the Isles for your pets.
