The beetle is an all around weak pet with one fun trick. Sometimes useful in PvE if you dont have a good team. But all around a detriment to any team.

After much searching and comparison, this seems to be the only beetle skin that comes in a white version! Very pretty. Your best bet is to find the white one, tame it and battlestone for rare, don't even bother trying to find a wild blue, it's ridiculously rare from what I've tried.

Found a blue today- in the Holy Trinity of pet battles, all the adds were blue.  Tough decision, but I went with this one...

captured an uncommon while battling a geode, crimson expanse, 77.46.

 

update: while looking for a rare crimson shale spider i captured a rare beetle. :)
