Despite their idyllic surroundings, grasslands cottontails hop at surprising speed when evading their pursuers.
Make a circuit of the NW corner starting just N of the flight into Refuge Pointe. These are frequently seconds to prairie dogs & occasionally rats. The S/S breed is one key to a 2-pet crushing of Major Payne in this vid. Often 325 speed is plenty and the extra power (+20%-ish) for Flurry and Burrow is quite relavent. Excellent pet to nab in both S/S & H/P (simply for a strong bunny) and stone later. The brown & white calico model looks super sweet as a bonus.
Bit of a frustrating grind. Made 3 laps of Arathi bagging 2 other rares a H/S & H/P before i even saw a S/S. Then it was only uncommon so i bagged it anyway. All came from N/west corner, around Northfold Manor. Oh i killed all others on the way so they would respawn. That must have worked. Never saw one as a secondary to Pairie Dog or Frog so dont bother. Killed those to :)
Grasslands Cottontail is the ONLY rabbit with an S/S 260/325. Every other type of rabbit is either S/S 226/357 or a balance of some sort, making this rabbit the strongest of the speed breeds.
Note: There are no rabbits with a P/S breed, so if you want a fast bunny that hits a little harder, this guy is the only way to go.
Comes in 6 breeds so it might take a while to get the one you want, since it might even take time to get one. The H/P breed is the strongest of all Rabbits(289 power). But with 260 speed means you can't play it like the faster rabbits, you need Adrenaline Rush to make best use of flurry and Burrow(except if you face lots of below 260 speed pets). On the other hand you can just go with Scratch. S/S breed is also interesting with 325 speed without sacrificing too much power.
Found mine as a secondary to a Small Frog around Witherbark Village.
found mine around Galen's Fall rare B/B breed :( only but still looking for the S/S breed rare but got a rare one hahaha he was second pet by the way
With speed breed, this is the best rabbit pet for pvp battles.

Found mine at Refugee Point and the surrounding area, found them as secondaries to frogs in Witherbark Village as well.
