Activating the Lesser Keyflame in The Whirring Field area in northern Hallowfall will spawn an NPC, Yorvas Flintstrike, who offers the quest "Lost In Shadows". Using the Patrol Torch provided for the quest in areas around the nearby farms can eventually reveal a lootable Nightfarm Growthling. The NPC also sells torches for 5 Radiant Remnant.
As of Patch 11.0.5, Blizzard removed this pet's second appearance, leaving it with only the default (main pet image). However, players that collected both appearances prior to the patch were allowed to keep both even after the patch.

These highly destructive pests are known to destroy crops in Hallowfall.
I easily found the "multiple caps" skin, so I tried to find the other skin, ("the big cap" one). No luck : I managed to capture 6 Nightfarm Growthling, but all of them came with the same multiple caps skin. It is odd, since the pet that I clicked on waas *always* from the other skin (big cap)... So my question is : are you sure this pet comes with 2 skins available, or is it a myth ? Anyone here captured a big cap one ?
Being near him to see him is an understatement. I used a standard vendor torch and walked that entire several times. When he did show up, he was just inches from me. Need a movable spotlight...
Found at 65.19, 33.43 using a Flickering Torch (vendor item). Ran around the fields holding the torch and he appeared as a purple outlined model to right click and loot. He is invisible until you are near him with a torch.
I found mine at /way 63.3 31.07 ... :)
Not part of a petbattle, you can just rightclick it to grab it.
Also found at 63, 31 using the Patrol Torch. I looted it versus a battle.
Found it around /way 63.33 31.08 using the Patrol Torch that you get from Yorvas Flintstrike.
