Patch 6.0.1 | Posted: October 14, 2014
Maaria, the Sha'tari Defense quartermaster, can only be accessed through a level 2 Trading Post plot in an Alliance player's garrison.
There are no quests or dailies that reward Sha'tari Defense reputation. Instead, players must kill level 100 mobs in Talador. Areas include: Shattrath City and the hills directly north of Fort Wrynn.

Playing fetch with a ray is always fun. You don't even have to aim.
Traded for and learned this pet as Horde on Uldaman-US without the Alliance rep required to purchase it from the vendor.
The general info tab for this pet is incorrect. It states "The quartermaster currently does not sell this pet, but the old Nether Ray Fry instead. It's suspected that this is a bug."
I just checked, the vendor DOES sell the correct pet "Sky Fry" for 1000g + 2000 apexis crystals + revered status.
I don't understand why the Sky Fry is an uncommon while the Bone Wasp (the horde counter part) is a rare. This better be a bug because I'd rather not waste a battle stone.
Happily, Blizzard has hotfixed this little guy to its rightful place on the Sha'taari Defense vendor. Time for the rep grind!
This will be my favorite of the nether ray pets, as it matches the colors of my mascot ray Terrato.
As far as PVE battles are concerned this pet has a damaging ability for six different classes! So movesets can be swapped around for greater damage to Critter, Flying, Dragonkin, Aquatic, Magic, and Humanoid. One of the more versatile pets in the game with it also being a Flying breed it will be faster than most pets from the first 50% of it's health like all other flyers! A lot of experimenting can be done with this one IMO!
Don't be fooled by the (current) entry in the log, this is NOT from the lvl 70 Sha'tari Skyguard, but from the level 100 Sha'tari Defense
