A Funko Pop! version of this pet is available for purchase from the Blizzard Gear Store. US-residents who purchase the figurine will receive a code for the in-game pet. This code may be redeemed on any WoW account. All WoW accounts (of the same region) under one Battle.net will have access to this pet.

I didn't get the code, but I wrote to the store's support and received the code after a few hours.wow already sold out in USA.
I confirm too that the pop+pet was available, but only for 2 days (!), on the UK Blizzard store. It appeared on 10/25 and was "sold out" on 10/26. Living in France, I ordered it just in time and received the code by email. I redeemed it on a EU server and it worked.
While I'm happy to have achieved this, I have to admit that this state of affairs is even more deeply troubling for EU players...
Let's hope the pet will be available soon in EU through other means.
please read if you're EU and want to buy this from the US store. Don't!!! Learn from my mistake. you won't get a code. You won't get a pet just an overpriced Funko pop.
for all of those people in the comments below and also in the EU, Korea, and China; there is currently 2 pets from the EU that people in rest of the world cannot get: [Gurky & Lurky.] there is currently 2 pets from Korea that people in the rest of the world cannot get: [Murki & Onyx Panther.] and more over for China, there is currently 5 pets that the rest of the world cannot get: [Essence of Competition] (2007 pvp), [Poley, Tiny Green Dragon, Tiny Red Dragon: (icoke promo)], &
[Spectral Cub] (2012 World Championships: China) i would love to be able to get the above 9 pets to add to my collection. i also do wish that everyone could get every pet in game. hope that everyone is also have a pleasant weekend thus far, gl, tc, and hh :D
Here's another extreme disappointed pet-addict, from Europe that would love to have a code for this pet...
Just to confirm that this pet is/was available on the UK Blizzard store. I ordered my funko and received the code for the pet in an email a couple of days later.
Ordered the pop from the UK store on October 25th and got my code today (Oct 30th) - Redeemed on EU without issues
Even though you can have up to 3 Brrgl's in your pet journal, they are, unfortunately, not cageable
I look on Ebay if I can't find the pet or mount.

as an Australian .. not fair :(I don't know why players from other countries are being left out. I am an Australian player and will have no opportunity to buy the merchandise that accompanies this pet. If anyone has an unused code, I would be extremely grateful.
