Players can participate in the Argent Tournament, a permanent event in northeastern Icecrown, to earn Champion's Seals. A representative of each race sells a race-specific pet. Horde characters may purchase this and other horde-based Argent Tournament pets once they have successfully "championed" that race's cause through various quests. Alliance characters may purchase this pet through a neutral auction house and on occasion through their own auction house.

Created by a blood elf apprentice, this broom would be extremely useful if anyone could figure out how to make it stop.
That it has Wind-Up and Sandstorm makes it pretty solid at protecting backline pets while doing heavy focused damage to its target
This pet requires 40 Champion's Seals to purchase. Champion's Seals are awarded from completing Argent Tournament related daily quests. However, you must first be attuned through a quest chain that itself takes a minimum of 8 days to complete. After attunement you will be able to earn 14 Seals per day -- so it will take three days of daily quests to earn enough Seals to buy the broom. The quests are grindy and some require travel across Northrend, but in the end are easy for a max level player.
This pet has a few interesting abilities that makes it a very strong overall pet.
Typically I use batter as the pet has 325 speed and normally goes first. I use sweep to control the battlefield and remove pets that will be troublesome. Wind up can help ramp up damage. If you are having issues with objects on the battlefield then switch Wind Up with Clean Up.
A strong pet and it helped me with the Family Battler Achievment for Magic pets.
This dropped as a rare for me as part of the satchel of goodies from doing random heroic dungeons in Pandaria.
Still a good pet after 5.4 nerfs. Very flavourful, but in reality Sandstorm does not fit that well with Batter. Clean-Up hit fliers like a truck. Even with damage nerf to Sweep, switch moves are one of the most tactical moves there is, very useful. Wind-up is a very nice self-buff and a nice threat of a big hit.
Good speed, 325, can really punish beasts. Nowdays there has been introduced an even speedier range of good pets so it will not be as useful as before 5.4.
This may be a foolish question, but do any of the pets you purchase in the Argent Stand drop as rare or are they always uncommon? Just trying to decide whether or not to use a battle stone. (love this pet!)
Was extremely lucky. This pet dropped from a boss i LFR Throne of Thunder!
Aparently that happens sometimes, and since I until now only lvled allinance chars, I was excited.
This pet is one of my favourites to fight with. It's a fast breed and it's moves are quite good. It's definetly worth the upgrade if you have a stone around!
It's also a broom.
Also, ever since 3.2 when you summon Sweepy here, instead of just appearing out of no where, It rises from the floor like a zombie.
