The bubbles inside of these ooze creatures make a very satisfying pop noise when they finally surface and rupture.
The chests are found in S/E Maldraxxus in the slime pools (near House of Plagues). They usually pop-up on the map, even from a distance, but will take some maneuvering to reach. I believe there are 6 possible spawn points for the chests, throughout the slime zone. The chance to loot this pet is really low. I have looted over 12 chests with no pet, and I have friends doing this as well. The chests also have a chance for a toy.
Just got mine! Â On first attempt. Â I ran counterclockwise around the acid field. Â Finally found a channel in the mountains that lead to a wall portion near the chest. Â Was able to climb on to the wall and jump down to a small island that the chest was sitting on.
