Warlords of Draenor
Patch 6.2.2 | Posted: September 1, 2015
This wild pet can only be spawned using an item purchased during Hallow's End.

Creepy Crawlers (purchased for 5 Spooky Supplies) is similar to the Rodent Crate used to summon the Sumprush Rodent.

Using Creepy Crawlers will spawn Ghastly Rats, Ghost Maggots, and Spectral Spinners that you can capture in your garrison. These wild pets remain spawned throughout the in-game event and persist through zoning and logging out.

Players can visit another player's garrison to capture these pets.

The Ghastly Rat, Ghost Maggot and Spectral Spinner will remain in your Garrison even after Hallow's End has ended.  You speak with Izzy Hollyfizzle to take down the decorations.  However, I've left mine up, at least for now, and should you be the type to hunt these out of season, contact me and we'll group to get you a garrison invite.

In case you were wondering like I was, yes you can kill these and another random of the 3 Halloween pets will insta respawn. Had quite a pile of bodies looking for rares.

If you're like many people you have more than one.  Against the final Humanoid boss on 4th stage of new Deadmines pet battles (forgot his name), this pet is deadly, bring two.  This tenacious, voracious rat will be faster; so just hit boss with RABID STRIKE then CONSUME.  When he stuns your 1st rat, just swap in 2nd rat, rinse and repeat.  Throw in your GHOSTLY STRIKE just before you die.  CROUCH is good on 2nd rat once you swap in, as alt strategy.

I'd name mine Ben, but I'm afraid people would start turning up mysteriously dead if I did....

Has anyone seen a preference in breed?

I am currently using a 25 S/B Rare 2,1,2 with pretty good results.  I have a 23 H/S Rare I have been thinking of trying out.

I for one am grateful these pets are so easily obtained... I like having all these "wild undead critters" running around my garrison for halloween... If I had to collect hundreds of tokens to "buy" them like we usually have to, I would have screamed!!!! (Probably done it but not have been very happy about it :P  )

More pets... HOORAY!!! Thanks Blizzard!  :D

Keep in mind that some months ago wild pets have got a stealth nerf to attack power (and some others stats probably too, but not sure because it's difficult to find a consistent source) lasting until tamed.

This happened probably to prevent some self-healing and self-destructing abilities from making catching process a bit frustrating.

This is a thing that still confuses some addons, so no wonder that live observation can drive you crazy!

Im a little confuesd. My pets add-on doesn't list this guy's breed, but i figure its new so thats ok. Comparing the stats I find against the stats listed here doesn't add up however. for example: I found a Lv25 Ghastly Rat (uncommon) H:1195 P:202 S:252. But none of these stats match those listed here. Is there any known reason these stats dont line up? Is there any other way to determine breed?

[edit] Helps when you compare same levels. After catching one, the lose 2 levels. Lv23, not 25 doh!

The first undead pet to feature crouch + flurry... If you use a p/b breed(289pwr) it should be able to hammer down pvp opponent's undead effectively and have great lasting power with crouch/undead racial

The h/s breed gets the 'initiative'  (289 speed) vs almost all undead in pet pvp ...also 1546hp/260pwr

The h/b breed will also be a worthy option vs undead in pet pvp with it's own undead racial and 273 speed and power... here is a taste of their own undead medicine (for triple undead spammers in pet pvp)

Like the other two new pets, I captured an uncommon first and then all the others were poor. However, since you are going to use a stone to make them rare anyway it doesn't matter.

All three respawn really quickly so it doesn't take long to find the breed/s you want to keep and make rare.

I'm guessing this will come from the item sold by Izzy Hollyfizzle in your garrison, possibly in a similar manner to the Rodent Crate for the Sumprush Rodent.
