@Simmias - I'm not in game, so I can't check with an add-on, but using WoWhead there's about 1109 pets total.

 

 

Excluding Store, TCG, Promotion and some listed as Unknown, brings the total down to 1014.

 

 

Depending on how you are with alts, you could exclude another 9 due to order hall pets, which brings you down to 1005.

 

 

So it's possible, just really cutting it close.

May not want to make a post specificaly for it, but pre-patch is the 17th for US/18th for EU. Maybe a update at the top of this page?

It's a bummer we'll have to grind all over again, since the total of all the new vendor pets is around 4k charms; but at the same time, if there was no conversion, there'd be nothing to really work for with so many people able to just buy them right out.

Even if I managed to get all 120 new pets, I'd still be short of Hearthy by ~60.

Out of that 60: 15 are Store; 7 Class specific; and 6 "I don't think I can get those". The others are rare/world drops and vendor (specifically Alliance Argent Tournament pets).

 

Oh well, a lot of cool pets to get; and at least I don't have to spend my mil on Francois.

So I take it this is going to replace the Horde Fanatic? Or is that available as long as we hit Honor Level 50? And how long does it take to get there?

I was flying around for it, and saw in chat somoene cheer at the candle. I land to try and cheer, but it pops. Then it gets added to my journal. So...anyone in the area of it popping gets it? Was right outside Simply Enchanting.

The Ethereal Soul-Trader is a combat pet, so I don't understand why the Pages/Heralds couldn't be. Is it only because of the size?

I wish I had an Ore Eater to go with Crusher.

Yay, my (now second) favorite expansion is getting raid pets. Can't wait to collect them all.

Hatespark is going to be a drop from Rag? ;.;
