Considering the gold value this now has, the ratio of one card per pet is a dream trade in your favor. I did my other trades weeks ago when the pets were cheap and the trade was in my favor and I was looking for gifts for friends. So the people that I did the older trades with, we both came out ahead. Now, that my investment in the pets was higher, the trade needs to be higher. So, if I don't have any decent offers or an idea of what someone is realistically going to trade, the pets will just stay on the account, frozen.

The only thing I would be willing to trade my Hatespark for would be a Magic Rooster Egg.

Yeah I know, some people may think that's not a fair trade—that depends on what people want though. But I want the magic rooster mount, and it's the only thing in the game I'm saving for at the moment.

The Magic Rooster is going for around 300k on my server (when you see one). I have no idea what Hatespark will climb to, but I'm saving it to see how much people will be willing to pay. It won't surprise me to see hatespark going for at least 100k, if not more, considering it's now unobtainable; as opposed to the rooster which can still be found on the BM AH.

Just thought I'd point out that Blizzard has decided to patch in an extra week of MC for the snafu of ending the holiday too early. So there's still time for folks to try to get this (or trade for it) before the prices do inflate for becoming truly unobtainable.

That said, I think a fair trade is whatever ends up making both parties happy, so y'all thinking maybe you're asking too much (or too little) for your hatesparks probably aren't.

My two cents, though.

Also: I keep seeing trades like this thread offering cards--are these physical gametime cards people go and buy and then give the codes for, or something else? Sorry to hijack for the question, I just want to finally sate my curiosity and see if its something I can do, myself, to try and get the last hatespark I need, since this appears to be one of the more popular swaps people seek out.
