Hm, I have already known this. Thanks for pointing this out.

Typing "Ice" we can get Icespine Hatchling as well as all Icecrown pets and a typo in "Ancients" related to the TCG.

There's also an inconsistence about the lil' Celestials.
Typing "Celestial" you get only Xu-Fu and Zao (And Celestial Dragon).
For Yu'la and Chi-chi you need to type actual vendor name (Master Li) or just Timeless Isle that aren't either mentioned in the case above.

AWwww The Foxes have both been updated to being called "Kit"s. I was really hoping we'd get some more bigger foxes, Alpine Foxling sized, but I'm guessing this means they'll all be pointlessly mouse-sized like the Baradin Fox kit

Cephalopods are temporarily renamed to "Not-A-Cephalopods". Kudos for the self-distance!

You need to walk around the outside edge of Dalaran to find it. Jump down from the FP area and head left to one of the floating islands. NPCs in the "Pet battle area" are a [url=http://legion.wowhead.com/npc=105220/tournament-announcer]Tournament Announcer[/url] and [url=http://legion.wowhead.com/npc=105228/greg]Greg[/url].

Can't interact with them for the time being. Perhaps in the future?

There's also a small area with 3 training dummies and a Deathy NPC. Can't interact with the training dummies either.

While I am going to test each class and level and do all that stuff (I'm a proper tester, I don't just go for lookie-loos) I of course am going to be mainly focused on Pet Battle stuff when I see it!

Datamining is all well and good, but it's far cooler to discover it in the wild. I'll be making regular updates at my Murloc Harbor blog throughout Alpha and Beta!

New Alpha patch today. So far it includes a few new/changed battle pet abilities, including "Magic Scales: Chromaddon ignores attacks that do more than 250 damage." Seems kind of like a reverse Stitches Jr.

New icon that hints at a possible second Val'kyr pet coming in Legion. Wowhead datamined what the Val'kyr will probably look like.

MMO-Champion datamined an image of a "holy manafiend", which might be a new pet too but it's still too early to say for sure.

So basically… Return of the Turret Syndrome?
This kind of limitation seems to be even more annoying than the other one, because who in either of the worlds tunes their attacks down, even against magic pets?
I guess that, for example, black claw parties would be a bit too strong after all unless you have a plenty of lowbies.
But hey, it's a new area to explore what may be a bit refreshing!

I wanted to link to pets not mentioned here before (including challenges), but there are so many of them!

• Wyrmy's name has been changed to Flummox.
• A challenge pet with [ability]Rain Dance[/ability] + [ability]Body Slam[/ability] is going to be awful even with avoidance abilities. D: Unless the proc can crit aswell
• There are also two val'kyrs, the regular and gold one, as challenges too. So finally, at least a node to Trial of The Champion?!
• And there is Lil'idan, also the challenge! That name was popular for quite a long.

Daily, weekly and undefined Pet Battle quests in Legion:

So far the dailies and weekly quest (seven of them, all account-wide) award Pet Charms x4 each. The undefined quests reward a Common Bag of Loot.

Undefined quests seem related to bonus objectives in certain areas. See this video by Mistel for an example (Hungry Icefang boss pet).

So I'm 2 weeks or so away from getting all of my pets to level 25. Should I keep doing the pet battle dailies just for charms to stock up for Legion? I'm trying to find any info to make sure that I save up 5000 charms to buy pet leveling stones/rarity upgrade stones that they will actually be available...

Personally, I would say yes. Keep collecting those Pet Charms. There are a few pets coming in Legion that will cost a few hundred Pet Charms each, plus it's always handy to be able to buy upgrade and leveling battlestones. The Menagerie NPC has moved to Dalaran in Legion, making it even easier to purchase these stones.

Please no epic.....720 pets now, XX more in Legion....~800 Epic battlestones needed? This is a very scary prospect unless they're relatively easy to get, and then why would they be epic?

And what do you think? Will this upgrade pet stats? Or just make the borders purple....if it's purely cosmetic, not as big a deal, I think?
