I didn't realize those were potentially separable; I've been sitting here in frustrated fury at owning no consoles and being Windows-less (I'm on a mac) because a) I wanted to play Overwatch and couldn't but also b) because there was a pet I couldn't get without spending what, $70 to do so?

Xella I was in the same boat. I have a Mac and no consoles. There is no way to separate the items with a digital purchase but you can with a physical. Well I know you can with the Xbox and PS4. I've not seen inside a PC box but I am assuming it's the same.
The console physical copies come with a physical key you need to add to your account to claim these goodies.
I'm in Australia and Target here currently has the console Origin editions on sale for AU$78. Which is cheaper than Blizzard's AU$90 and the AU$100 EBGames wants.

Xella, Ssparkles: I was talking to someone who added me from here (but I can't remember their name anymore) that had code for Baby Winston only but I wanted the game too, so I think it's possible. Maybe if they see this post, they can contact you! I'm sorry, wish I could remember who it was!
