Post by Krovikan » October 9th, 2020, 4:42 am

Hello:

Everyday I have the message to accept cookies. Everyday I accept all for not boring me more. But everyday I have again the message to accept cookies. Any problem with cookies?

EDIT: Only happens in main screen of News (https://www.warcraftpets.com/news/). If I go to this forum (without answer to cookies), when I load again the News not ask me.

Regards

Usually for web issues, I would suggest giving browsers you have tried (Firefox, IE, Edge, Chrome, Safari, Opera, etc.) and platforms (Android, Windows, Mac, Linux, Iphone, etc.)

There is a cookie issue with Safari on some mobile platforms for example. Don't know if it got resolved as the poster never updated:

Helllo:

Sorry for not mention the web browser.

I use Firefox (and openSUSE Linux Leap 15.2). But when I readed your post, I tried yesterday with Chromium (the Linux version of Chrome) and I acepted all cokies.

Today, with Firefox (as allways, is my default browser) did not say anything about cookies. But I am checking and if I got new information about this I will post here.

That really sounds like the browser is auto deleting something on a periodic check. It doesn't happen globally for all browsers, and both cases are Safari.

Are yall able to try a different browser to see?

I know Firefox's last update turned on a privacy setting that relogged me out of twitter and facebook every day, so it sounds like something similar to that, only with cookies. I was able to adjust the setting in firefox though.

For me, it happens on ALL browsers.

Safari and chrome on iPad
Chrome, Internet Explorer and Edge on Windows 10

If more then 7 days have gone by, since last display of the main page: Cookie confirmation!
As sure as amen in church.

In February, I also reported it.... Back then,it changed the cookie settings to a default state each time. That problem have s i nce been fixed; now it's just cookie confirmation every week --> viewtopic.php?f=4&t=18736

Ok that may be part of your problem. Try setting it to Custom and uncheck Cookies. You can leave the other 3 checkboxes checked if you like. Back about a few weeks ago my firefox updated and I started losing logins and cookie rememberance. When I went to custom and de-selected cookies, my stuff worked again.

I don't know if this is your problem for sure, but something to try.
