These promos are getting out of hand. Put the pets on the ingame shop and I have no issue buying them but I can't keep buying from the gear store.

I might have been tempted to purchase this, but apparently there were only 150 available in the UK store and they sold out before I'd even become aware they were available.

All these promotions feel to me like a company trying to milk every last penny from their player base while they still can. It's cynical, greedy behaviour which, if these promotions are successful, will only increase over time. I think I may be done with pet collecting.

I couldn't have guessed this would sell out so quickly, particularly when the ice murloc toys are still apparently well-stocked. Completely ridiculous in my opinion. Thanks to my friend Aurnhaden for the heads up or I would have been out of luck.

It seems very unfair that so many people didn't get this pet simply because they didn't happen to hear of this promotion in the 5 days or so it was available. Creating such a limited supply without any warning seems designed to create disappointed collectors.

It never did. Blizzard historically doesn't put pets from purchases like this on the Battle.net store. The only pet from a promotion like this that has ever been made available a second time with a different method is Warbot, which can be purchased in game now.

As for Gill'el and the way it was marketed, that denied the majority of players the battle pet, I suggest contacting the gear store and making it clear that this was unacceptable. Maybe petition Blizzard to make the pet avialable seperately, either in the game store or the trading post. I find this insulting to be forced to by all this garbage I don't want just to get an ingame pet. Though I don't mind the Trolli gummy worms since I already eat them. I have extra codes that I was giving to people outside the USA. I just ask that they USE the code and not be a douche and try to sell it. I can't abide scalpers.
