Miscellaneous Mechanica is the bane of my existence

With so many mounts and pets requiring large numbers of the ultra-rare drop Miscellaneous Mechanica, my time playing has become incredibly frustrating. The drop rate is so low that I've spent days farming now without getting a single one, yet pets each require 5+ and the mounts require 25!!! To get one of each requires about 113 Miscellaneous Mechanica. Unless they increase the drop-rate we could farm until this expansion ends and still not have everything.

Even if they want it to be an excruciatingly tedious grind they could make the Miscellaneous Mechanica drop more frequently and just have the pets cost more of them. It's the days of grinding and getting nothing that is so painful. It's like farming Invincible, but you need 113 of them.

I hope they do something about the drop rate. they need to make it more worthwhile.

Glad I'm not the only one! I have yet to get a single drop of these items, though Wowhead promises me I'll find some when I start getting paragon caches. At least they are cageable, but the current prices are prohibitive. Breaks my pet-collecting heart!

I feel confident that we will see "the drop rate of Miscellaneous Mechanica has been increased" in patch notes soon.

If not, these will be very expensive pets forever, because farming won't be that much faster at character level 90 - and no one will want to spend the time down there to do it.

I feel like the drop rate has lowered somehow! I have found 12 Miscellaneous Mechanica total. However in the past week of grinding the bosses, trash piles, and overflowing dumpsters? ZERO! Maybe just bad luck? It's hard to tell with a drop-rate this low.

I'd love to see a more consistent droprate. Perhaps something such as first rare kill of the day across your Warband guarantees one Miscellaneous Mechanica drop? It would take over a month to collect enough for all the pets, assuming you kill at least one rare a day, so some effort still required.
