If you could pick something in wow and it could be a companion pet what would it be, I like the Stinky & precious model in Ice crown also the yeti in storm peaks a lot to choose from maybe with the new pet changes in pandora we will be able to tame some of these

Bronze Whelpling would be my realistic pet but a Hydra would be too freaking cool. It annoys me to no end that there are no Bronze Whelpling or Emerald Drake mount yet they do an Onyxian Drake/whelpling AND Twilight Drake plus a Lil' Deathwing

I'd loooove to see a bronze whelpling added to the game! Whenever I see Chromie's flight form during Hyjal dailies, I wish I could have one of my own...

I would like to have one of the small horses that run around Hillsbrad. There's other "critters" as pets why not a horse. Id also love to see one of the barrens giraffes as a pet. One that changes skins like the one at the DMF petting zoo. I swear that thing changes skins every day.

A Li'l Lich King! He could freeze to death other pets, then resurrect them as Scourge. You'd have your own army of frozen minions then *maniacal laugh*

One I've never understood why it isn't already in the game is an Arcane Sentinel from Silvermoon. When you come out of Sunfury Spire, there's a girl chasing a 'pet' version around. Adding it as a pet would be relatively simple if the minature model is already there

In the MoP pet system they've said you'll be able to adopt some critters out of the wild, by defeating them in the pet battles. I wonder if they were already contemplating the pet battle idea when they made some critters like the cluckers. They look like they were meant to be pets. (Just as long as they don't take the old chicken model out of the game, I love my Westfall chicken!!)
