Collectors needing Lashtail Hatchling

I only did Zul Grub a few times and never received the pet, I did do all the quests but not sure why I never did the pet part in the instance. I have tried a few times on my server to find others interested in running the 5 man with no luck.
So I am hoping there are some other interested pet collectors in here we can possibly CRZ and hook up to get this pet for our collection, 85's and up only. I am willing to help other groups if more than 5 reply of feel free to use this thread to form other groups. My main is DPS LvL90, I am so unfamiliar with the instance not sure if we could get away without heals or a tank for any parts of this and hope some of you all can suggest possible group makeup if all LvL 90's.

Either you need a blood dk or a brewmaster monk (both are capable of soloing Mandokir) or it should work with two people as well.

FYI, most of the quests to get the pet are outside the instance. Once you've completed the quest line outside you'll be able to claim your pet inside.

Thanks, so you just release him from a cage or something after killing the boss? I thought someone said there was one more quest inside.

Yeah, once you've done the whole quest line outside you'll see a "!" behind the bosses area.

Thank you, I swear I did that on my main at one time but maybe the group I was with did not finish or I am dreaming but I do not have the pet or any quest in my log.

Can they still pull it off after the vengeance nerf?

Also, I solo'd it as a hunter. One of the most satisfying quest lines in WoW, imo.

I did this with myself as a 90 hunter and a friend also a 90 hunter. We were able to kill him but only I saw the pet quest. Turns out she didn't have the pre-quests finished. So what I did was stay in the instance and she ran out and finished up the quest line. Came back in and saw the quest. So you don't really need to be there at the finish of the guy, he just needs to be dead.

Loved the original quest line and was thrilled after my first Mandokir kill to see the yellow ! pop up in the background. Afterwards I had mine out in the original quest area and ended up with 2 of them running around with me. This and Pebble will probably always be my 2 favorite pets.
