Nocturnal Strike missing with Darkness?

My Raven has missed twice so far with a Darkness buffed Nocturnal Strike

I thought its supposed to always hit

What did i miss?

Any chance you were fighting elementals? Call Darkness is a weather effect, and therefore the blindness won't work on elementals, as they are immune to weather effects.

It can miss elementals and be dodged by others.

RNG is a bitch even with abilities called to "allways" hit like the lasers from the bird from the tamer in twillight highlands wich have the tooltip "never misses" but they still do miss or get dodged

Thanks guys, it was a PVP match, and misses are usually fatal

Darkness reduces accuracy by 10% while regular dodges and misses happen ~5% of the time. Even abilities like http://www.wowhead.com/petability=252 cannot overcome the base chance to miss/dodge, but it can compensate for accuracy reduction abilities like Darkness. In short, you're always going to miss some of the time.
