Suggestion: Primary/Secondary status of Wild Pets

Post by Bai98_ » March 20th, 2013, 5:00 pm

I have a suggestion of a piece of info to add to a wild pet's profile: whether they can spawn as a secondary add-on pet in a battle. This info is especially useful for zone-specific pets. For example, the Snowshoe Hare is zone-specific to Hillsbrad and can be found on its own or come with other pets. Helpful to know if you can't find any spawns that you still have a chance to find one in other battles. You can sometimes get this info from reading other users' comments, but it would be much quicker if a simple yes or no was in the pet's general info. :)

The problem is that some are secondary in certain zones, but primary in others. So we can't list a simple "yes/no" -- we'd have to develop a way to parse the information per zone in a user-friendly manner for both pet profiles and for our Pets by Zone feature. Plus we'd have to compile the list (and double-check it).

I'm not saying we can't do it -- I'm just saying it's not such a simple request. ;-)
