Best pet vs Flying?

I've tried many different ones, but none seem to great. I mostly use Kirin Tor, and 2 different slimes. Any suggestions?

Try a Sprite Darter Hatchling or Nether Faerie Dragon. Both have abilities that are strong against flying, and flying attacks are weak against them.

Emerald proto whelp, especially P/P breed, is particularly good against fliers. It takes less damage from flying attacks as it's a dragon and it has Emerald Bite which is strong against fliers. It's shield and Emerald Dream heal are really, really good too.

Heh, Emerald Proto-Whelp is an end-all answer. =P I like crabs against them, too; even though they're weak against the flyer's.

EPW for sure. Great shield, best heal in the game (imho) and strong attack. What's not to love? I even went and got a second P/P one... they are that good.

Any of the magic attack dragons I'd think. Azure whelp, Tarecgosa, Nexus whelp, and the ones that have been mentioned.

Lil' Tarecgosa: 4 x Arcane Blast deals cca 1900 damage to a flyer (without any other modifications)
Emerald Proto-Whelp P/P: 4 x Emerald Bite deals cca 2150 dmg. It is a bit slower and has a lot less HP than Tarecgosa and has great survivability toolkit.
Nexus Whelpling P/P: Wild Magic + Mana surge deals cca 1900 damage in 4 rounds. Has same stats as proto-whelp.
Azure Whelpling Wild Magic + Surge of Power deals 1350 damage in 4 rounds.
Netherwhelp: Soulrush + 3 x Nether Blast deals cca 2000 dmg. Very fast pet.
Sprite Darter Hatchling/ Nether Fearie Dragon S/S: Moonfire + 3 x Arcane Blast deals cca 2000 dmg. Very fast pet
Nether Fearie Dragon P/P: Moonfire + 2 x Arcane Blast deals 1720 dmg.
Nether Fearie Dragon P/P: Moonfire + 3 x Arcane Blast deals 2450 dmg.

Personally I would go with fast Nether Faerie Dragon as it is most available and will let the opponent strike just 3 times (it is identical to rare drop Sprite Darter Hatchling). Or if you look for some avoidance and self healing, go with Emerald Proto-Whelp P/P. This may be a bit harder to come by on CRZ realms

Chrominius is quite good against flyers and can 2 shot many of them with his double damage debuff and power surge attack.

So I was finally able to get Sprite Darter Hatchling off the AH for a decent price. Such a great pet. Found another good use for him. His Life Exchange move is amazing vs the Legendary aqua pets. Can just about solo them all with Sprite alone.
