I did not see this listed. But the out of control Zandalari rappys are getting bonked down in place.

Black Claw now deals 20% less damage.
Hunting Party now has an increased cooldown of 4 rounds, up from 3 rounds.
Clearly its a good time to stop using the raptors with the relevant abilties, to not lean on them as a crutch and suddenly feeling lost and without their strenght when 5.3 rolls in.

Re: New pet change on PTR, Zandalari rappy nerf
Why does Blizzard always nerf the ones we love? LOL they must monitor this site to see what pets are used the most *sigh*
Re: New pet change on PTR, Zandalari rappy nerf
Well a lot of people was complaining about the rappys doing too much damage, just like fluxfire feline.
Re: New pet change on PTR, Zandalari rappy nerf
The 100% damage debuff from hunting party has also been reduced from 2 rounds to 1. This means it's impossible for us to switch a pet and still get a huge 1 round attack for our next pet.
Kneebiter's combo (black claw->hunting party->blood fang) still kills just about anything pve wise. This includes the new low health beasts of fable.

What ends up happening with this kind of stuff is instead of people learning a strat or willing to use different pets, they complain pets are overpowered. Then they get nerfed, eventually so many pets end up getting nerfed that there is no reason to use any other pet vs another, removing all fun and uniqueness to these pets.
Re: New pet change on PTR, Zandalari rappy nerf
Blame it on flavor of the month pets that everyone jumps into for the power of it. Coupled with people unwilling to deviate from their coreteams to counter a common enemy composition, when its easier to go 'waahwaahwaah'
