How would I go about trading C/E pets? I'm guessing a character account transfer would be required?

Those are all locked to your specific B-Net account. No transfer or anything will work. The only way to trade those is to have a unused copy of the CEs and give them the code off the boxes. (or the boxes themselves)
The Baby Blizzard Bear, Onyxian Whelpling and Unhatched Mr. Chilly are unattainable by everyone now. You had to have logged in during the WoW anniversary to get those. They can not be traded or transfered to a different B-Net account.
The 3 mounts you mentioned are also locked to what ever B-Net account you choose when you purchased them and can not be traded or transfered to any other B-Net account.
