Lil' Bad Wolf Breed decisions

So I was looking at the Lil' Bad wolf and his abilities. Seems to me that he can be either a max speed pet and use dodge and pounce, or he can be a max power hitter with Retaliation, Howl and Mangle. I happen to get a max power one today, so going to level it up and see, but wondering what other people's thoughts are

If I remember, his s/s breed still was slower than a lot of others. I am trying to get a p/p one, currently have a p/s.

Yes, his S/S breed is too slow at 325 to really be useful, sadly so. Which leaves the P/P one as the only real option.

I dont consider LBW a terribly good battle pet, held back by the poor skill in slot 2. You are too slow to get good use out of dodge, and you have no multihit skill which to make use of Mangle with. Howl is a much better damage buffer for your main attack.
