Well, I can't sleep due to two impacted wisdom teeth giving me sheer hell so this topic is getting a bump. On the plus side at least I'll have a higher tolerance for pain?

I'm currently in the Newspaper trade, soon to be made redundant along with my whole department (all work being outsourced to India due to low costs *sigh*) so I'm intending to go freelance as a photoshop retouch artist, which is my something I love doing.
oooh awesome. My father owned his own business and specialised in printing + industrial plates and stencils and had a large clientele. I would have continued but the new tech would have cost about 5m to renew/learn and to outfit everything, the machines he had were ancient!. To this day I regret not doing it :( Could have made a fortune even with a bank taking a large share of the business! But at least I have skills in coral draw and photoshop, never know when that will come in handy.

I live in Auckland, New Zealand, turned 28 this year, and just got engaged a few months ago. Currently working two data entry jobs to make ends meet AND trying to get my own business venture off the ground. I'm more into the logistical side of things and there's always a high demand for that :P I hope one day I'll be able to provide enough to have a large family (enough to field a rugby league team at least) :P

My gf got me into knitting and I have to say it's been amazing for my finger and hand strength. Now I have zero problems playing the paino and other instruments. I made my first pair of gloves the other week and I don't want to stop wearing them (it's winter over here) :D

I am a preschool teacher. Kids are my world actually. Learning with them, playing games with them, helping them pick up essential skills, planning each class and kids activities - all these have become my life, work and hobby.

Pot is not going to help her anxiety, it will in fact make things worse in the long run. If you want I can help you with some legal alternatives that work well for anxiety, but it does require work on her part. There are about 8 different underlying conditions that trigger anxiety and you have to either figure out which one it is or cycle through the treatments for each one till something works.

Me, Well I advocate for the disabled, specializing in anxiety and depression (hence my comment above) by working with individuals and doctors to get them educated as to current research and genetics. It is all voluntary (as in I get paid nothing and give my time away for free) and stems out of my own personal situation. I have Agoraphobia type 2 (non learned), PTSD and refractory depression as the result of a bad combination of 2 tumours (one brain, one glandular) and a set of genetics that make me unable to process many drugs from their normal state to their active state. Also, I do gunsmithing and own part of a gun store in Texas. That has to be defined as a hobby though as it definitely does not make me money (costs me money each month in fact to stay open) .
